Honor Magic V5 was released in the United Kingdom and some European nations on Thursday. Honor’s latest book-style foldable smartphone has a 6.43-inch external display and a 7.95-inch inside screen. It is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The Honor Magic V5 is 8.8mm thick when folded and claims to be the world’s thinnest and lightest foldable smartphone. It comes with a 5,820mAh battery and supports both 66W wired and 50W wireless charging. It is also certified for dust and water resistance (IP58 and IP59). The Honor Magic V5 debuted in China in July.

In the UK, the Honor Magic V5 costs GBP 1,699 (about Rs. 2,01,00) for the single 16GB RAM + 512GB storage option. It comes in three color options: black, dawn gold, and ivory white. Readers may recall that the Honor Magic V5 was first announced in China last month, with prices beginning at CNY 8,999 (approximately Rs. 1,07,500) for the base 12GB RAM + 256GB storage version. It is available in Dawn Gold, Silk Road Dunhuang, Velvet Black, and Warm White (translated) in China.

 The Honor Magic V5 runs MagicOS 9.0.1 based on Android 15 and has a 7.95-inch 2K (2,172×2,352 pixels) 8T LTPO display. The foldable features a 6.45-inch 8T LTPO OLED outer screen with a resolution of 1,060×2,376 pixels. Both displays have refresh rates of up to 120Hz, peak brightness of 5,000 nits, PWM dimming at 4,320Hz, and full DCI-P3 color gamut coverage. The foldable phone is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor with an Adreno 830 GPU, 16GB of RAM, and 512GB of internal storage.
