Honor Magic7 RSR

Honor has introduced the Magic7 RSR Porsche Design, a premium smartphone that builds upon the Magic7 Pro and offers small improvements over the already impressive general flagship. The Magic7 RSR Porsche Design features a 6.8” LTPO OLED with 1 billion colors and Full HD+ resolution, with a peak brightness of 5,000 nits and protective glass certified to be ten times more durable against scratches and drops. The fingerprint scanner under the panel is now ultrasonic, upgrading from the optical solution Honor used in the Magic6 series.

The back camera combo is the same as the Magic7 Pro, with a 50 MP main camera and a 3D sensor for facial recognition and better depth effects in portrait selfies. The phone comes with the latest MagicOS 9.0, which brings plenty of Magic AI features, such as a personal agent, AI translation, and two-way noise reduction in calls.

Connectivity-wise, the Magic7 RSR supports Bluetooth 5.4 and Wi-Fi, but also has a custom-made Honor C2 chip that combines more 5G band coverage and provides non-stop connectivity when switching between cellular network and Wi-Fi. The phone is IP68 and IP69-certified, has a tray for two nano SIM cards, an NFC and an IR blaster, and supports stereo sound.

The Magic7 RSR Porsche Design comes in Provence Purple and Agate Ash (Gray), with the former option being a color option for the Porsche Taycan 4S electric vehicle and the latter being a metallic option for the Porsche 911 (992). Prices for the phone are CNY7,999 ($1,100/€1,050) for 16 GB + 512 GB memory or CNY8,999 ($1,230/€1,185) for 24 GB + 1 TB.
