Huawei launched the Pura 70 Ultra in April, and the company is clearly working on its successor. The camera specifications for the Pura 80 Ultra have leaked in China today.

The Huawei Pura 80 Ultra features a 50 MP primary camera with a 1-inch sensor and variable aperture, a 50 MP ultrawide camera, and a “super large” periscope zoom camera with a 1/1.3″ sensor.

As we are still a long way from the Pura 80 Ultra’s unveiling (rumored for Q2 2025, with April being the most likely month given its predecessor’s launch date), keep in mind that these rumored specs are based on current prototypes, and changes may occur before mass production begins.

Still, it appears that Huawei is positioning the upcoming Pura 80 Ultra as a photography powerhouse, which it may be capable of given its high-end specifications.
