Xiaomi previously teased Redmi 14C 5G, and now the company has officially announced the launch date for fans. Redmi 14C will be released in global markets, including India, on January 6. The device will succeed the Redmi 13C and is expected to feature a new design and hardware upgrades. In terms of design, the smartphone will feature the Starlight theme, which is inspired by the universe’s strength and beauty. The company has also confirmed three smartphone colour options.

The Redmi 14C is expected to be a rebranded version of the Redmi 14R (which debuted in China a few months ago). If this is true, the Redmi 14C will come with a 6.88-inch LCD panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The smartphone could be powered by the Snapdragon 4 Generation 2. The smartphone may be powered by a massive 5,160 mAh battery and 18W charging. It will use HyperOS, an Android 14-based operating system. It will have a 50MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera.
