Redmi has just announced the Turbo 4’s Chinese launch date. The device will be released on Thursday, January 2, making it Xiaomi first smartphone in 2025.

We also learned that the Turbo 4 is already available for early reservations through Xiaomi’s channels, and that it will go on open sale on the same day of the launch. According to the latest rumors, the Redmi Turbo 4 will be rebranded as the Poco X7 Pro in markets outside of China.

The official Redmi Weibo profile posted images of the Turbo 4 in Lucky Cloud White. We can see that the device will have flat sides with a subtle curvature on the back and a red accent line down the back. We also learn that the primary camera on the back will be a 50MP shooter, while the secondary module will be an 8MP ultrawide.

The Redmi Turbo 4 will be the first phone to feature MediaTek’s new Dimensity 8400 processor with an all-big-core configuration. According to leaked specifications, the device will also include a 6.67-inch LTPS OLED (FHD+ 120Hz), 12GB RAM, and a 6,550 mAh battery with 90W charging.
