OnePlus Ace 5 family will soon grow. It currently consists of the Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro, but an Ace 5V will be released as the successor to Ace 3V, which debuted in March.
According to prolific Weibo leaker Digital Chat Station, oneplus Ace 5V will use MediaTek’s unannounced Dimensity 9350 SoC, also known as “Dimensity 9300++”.
This SoC will compete directly with upcoming Snapdragon 8s Elite, successor to the 8s Gen 3. Dimensity 9350 is said to offer minor performance improvements over the 9300, as well as slightly lower power consumption.
OnePlus Ace 5V will also feature a “1.5K” resolution flat screen with thin bezels and a 7,000 mAh battery. It is unclear when Ace 5V will be made official, but we believe we are still a few weeks away, so plenty more information about it can emerge in the meantime. We’ll keep you posted.
Interestingly, OnePlus Ace 3V was rebranded (and slightly modified) for international market as OnePlus Nord 4, leading us to believe that Ace 5V could very well launch globally as Nord5.
