The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is not even official yet, but there is already talk in China about the brand’s next generation of flagship phones. The Xiaomi 16 Pro and 16 Ultra will reportedly share a new 6.85-inch LTPO OLED display with “2K+” resolution.

This will have symmetrical bezels on all four sides, and they will be thinner than any iPhone bezel. The display will be flat.

If history repeats itself, expect the Xiaomi 16 Pro to be announced alongside the smaller Xiaomi 16 in October, followed by the Xiaomi 16 Ultra around a year later. All three should use whatever Qualcomm calls the Snapdragon 8 Elite’s successor. And, of course, the Ultra will be the all-out photography flagship, and we are excited to see how it can improve on the already impressive (according to leaks and rumors) Xiaomi 15 Ultra.
