Upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is Expected to Feature a 200-Megapixel Main Camera

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to be unveiled in the second half of the year. While we have heard a lot about the book-style foldable phone in recent months, a new leak suggests the phone’s camera specifications. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to feature a new primary rear camera, which will be an improvement over the Galaxy Z Fold 6. The under-display camera on the inner screen is also said to be upgraded. Other sensors, including the selfie camera, may remain unchanged from its predecessor.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 Camera Details Revealed
According to Galaxyclub.nl (Dutch), Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 7 will have a 200-megapixel main rear camera. The foldable is said to use the same main camera as the flagship Galaxy S25 Ultra. Notably, the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, which was released in select markets last year, has a similar 200-megapixel sensor. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is said to be the first Z Fold phone outside South Korea to feature a 200-megapixel camera.
The addition of a 200-megapixel primary sensor to the Galaxy Z Fold 7 would be a significant upgrade over the Galaxy Z Fold 6 camera system. Other camera sensors, such as a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 12-megapixel secondary ultra wide sensor, and a 10-megapixel telephoto sensor, may remain the same as in previous models.
