According to recent reports, the Google Pixel 9a could be released globally in the coming days, and the company’s next midrange smartphone has leaked online. Tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks), who has a good track record of leaking details about unreleased smartphones, has shared design renders of the Pixel 9a in four colorways, as well as marketing images that show the smartphone’s features. The Google Pixel 9a was recently spotted on the FCC’s website, and the smartphone is expected to include satellite connectivity.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the tipster shared four photos of the alleged Pixel 9a. These images match the design seen in numerous leaks, which show the Pixel 9a with a dual rear camera setup that lacks a raised camera module, unlike the other Pixel 9 models. The images show the smartphone’s back and sides.

The Pixel 9a is expected to come in Iris, Obsidian, Peony, and Porcelain colors, as seen in one of the leaked renders. The handset is seen with several water droplets on the back panel, which appears to be a reference to its IP rating; previous reports suggest that the successor to last year’s Google Pixel 8a will have an IP68 dust and water resistance rating.
