iQOO Z9 Turbo was released in April with a 6,000 mAh battery and OriginOS 4, which is based on Android 14. Vivo planning to launch a refreshed variant with an even larger battery and updated software.

The phone is called the ‘iQOO Z9 Turbo Endurance” but we expect it to replace the current Z9 Turbo on store shelves. The launch date will be January 3, 2025.

The new phone will also come in a dark blue color. Despite an increase in battery capacity to 6,400 mAh, the size and weight will remain the same at 196 gram.

The rest of the specification will remain unchanged a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, a 6.78″ AMOLED with a refresh rate of 144 Hz, and an unimpressive 50 MP + 8 MP dual camer on the back. We also expect the price to stay the same—in April, the phone cost CNY 1,999 ($275) for 12/256 GB.
