Lenovo announced the second-generation Legion Go gaming portable at IFA Berlin. The Legion Go 2 looks identical to last year’s Legion Go, but it has significant enhancements, including a new processor and a larger battery.

The Lenovo Legion Go 2 can be equipped with either the AMD Ryzen Z2 or the Z2 Extreme processors, as well as the AMD Radeon 890M GPU. It may be configured with up to 32 GB of 8,000 MHz RAM and 2 TB of PCIe Gen 4 storage. It has a microSD card slot for additional storage capacity.

It features an 8.8-inch OLED panel with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and a refresh rate range of 30 to 144 Hz. The display boasts 500 nits of brightness and is HDR TrueBlack 1000 certified. The Legion Go 2 also features a larger 74 Whr battery compared to the original Legion Go, which had a 49.2 Whr cell.

The handheld now includes a fingerprint scanner on the power button, two USB4 ports with Power Delivery 4.0 support, and a 3.5 mm headphone port. It comes with two 2W speakers, two microphones, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.3.

The Lenovo Legion Go 2 weighs 1079 grams. It will be available for purchase in select markets this month, with prices beginning at €999.
