Moto G05 will be available in India next week. A dedicated microsite on Flipkart is teasing the specifications of the new Motorola G-series smartphone ahead of its launch in the country. Moto G05 features a 6.67-inch HD+ (720×1,612 pixel) display and a Mediatek Helio G81 Extreme chipset under the hood. It is powered by a 5,200mAh big battery and it supports 18W fast charging. Moto G05 and Moto E15 were unveiled in select global markets in December.

Moto G05 will be released on January 7 at 12:00pm IST and will be available for purchase in India through Flipkart. The e-commerce website teases the handset’s design and specifications on a dedicated landing page. It will be available in both green and red, with a vegan leather back panel.

Moto G05 Specifications

The Moto G05 ships with Android 15 and is confirmed to receive two years of security updates. It comes with a 6.67-inch HD+ (720×1,612 pixels) LCD with 90Hz refresh rate and   Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It features a Mediatek Helio G81 Extreme chipset, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage. The built-in RAM can be expanded up to 12GB with additional storage.

The Moto G05’s optics include a 50-megapixel Quad Pixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera. It features dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support and Hi-Res audio certification. The handset has an IP52 rating.

Motorola released the Moto G05 in select global markets in December of last year, alongside the Moto E15. The Moto G05 will be the successor to the Moto G04 and is expected to be priced below Rs. 10,000 in the country.
