The Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC will power the Nothing Phone 3, according to the company press announcement. Nothing CEO Carl Pei claims that the processor would boost CPU performance by 36% over the Nothing Phone 2, which has a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset.

Pei said that the GPU and NPU performance have been improved by 88 percent and 60 percent, respectively, over the previous phone. Pei stated that these enhancements would result in a “snappier” performance.
