The display also features a centered punchhole for the 16MP selfie camera and a fingerprint reader for biometric authentication. There are two cameras on the back: a 50MP primary and a 2MP monochrome sensor.

The Oppo A5 Pro includes a Dimensity 7300 SoC, an IP69 rating, and a 6,000 mAh battery.
The Oppo A5 Pro is powered by the Dimensity 7300 chip, which supports up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The smartphone runs Android 15-based ColorOS 15, but it is unclear how many years of software support it will receive.

Nonetheless, the Oppo A5 Pro has an IP66/68/69 rating, military-grade GJB150A-2009 certification, and 360-degree drop resistance. It also includes symmetrical low-frequency antennas at both ends of the frame to improve signal strength.

The rest of the Oppo A5 Pro’s highlights include a 6,000 mAh battery, 80W charging, 5G support, stereo speakers, NFC, and a wet touch screen that can be operated while wearing gloves.

The Oppo A5 Pro is available in four storage configurations: 8GB/256GB, 8GB/512GB, 12GB/256GB, and 12GB/512GB. The base model costs CNY1,999 ($275/€265/INR23,330), while the top-end version costs CNY2,499 ($340/€330/INR29,165). The 8GB/512GB and 12GB/256GB variants cost CNY2,199 ($300/€290/INR25,665). These will be available in China from December 27 on Oppo’s Chinese website.
