Redmi 15C 4G Launches With Helio G81 Ultra Chipset: Price and Specifications

On Thursday, the Redmi 15C 4G was launched in a few select global countries. It serves as the successor to the Redmi 14C, which debuted in August 2024. The handset has a 6.9-inch HD+ 120 Hz screen. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio G81-Ultra chipset and supports up to 8 GB of RAM. The Redmi 15C 4G features a dual rear camera arrangement led by a 50-megapixel shooter. The phone’s dust and splash resistance grade is IP64. It has a 6,000 mAh battery and capability for 33 W rapid charging.

Redmi 15C 4G prices start at $179 (approximately Rs. 15,800) for the 8GB + 128GB model. It’s also available in 4GB + 256GB and 6GB + 128GB options. The top-end Redmi 15C 4G model with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage costs $229 (approximately Rs. 20,200). The handset comes in Moonlight Blue, Midnight Black, Mint Green, and Twilight Orange. Redmi has not announced any intentions to introduce the handset to India.

The Dual SIM (Nano + Nano) Redmi 15C 4G runs HyperOS 2, which is based on Android 15. The device features a 6.9-inch HD+ (720×1,600 pixels) LCD screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate, 810 nits peak brightness (HBM), and a 240 Hz touch sampling rate. TUV Rheinland has certified the panel as low blue light, circadian friendly, and flicker-free.
The device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G81-Ultra processor, which is paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, up to 256GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage, and a Mali-G52 MC2. It has various artificial intelligence features, such as Circle to Search and Gemini.
