Redmi Turbo 4 will be released in China on January 2. It is claimed to be the first smartphone to feature MediaTek’s octa-core Dimensity 8400-Ultra chipset. The upcoming handset’s design and color scheme were previously confirmed. Now, the company has revealed the phone’s battery and build details. Earlier reports suggested several key smartphone features. The turbo 4 will have a large battery and an IP69 rating.

Redmi Turbo 4 Features

The Redmi Turbo 4 will be powered by a 6,550mAh battery, according to a Weibo post from the company. In another post, the company stated that the handset will have dust and water resistance ratings of IP66, IP68, and IP69 respectively.

Redmi previously confirmed that the phone will be available in the ‘Lucky Cloud White’ (translated from Chinese) color option. The Redmi Turbo 4 will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Ultra SoC and have a 1/1.5-inch 50-megapixel primary sensor with OIS.

According to a recent Geekbench listing, the Redmi Turbo 4 will most likely run Android 15’s HyperOS 2.0 and support up to 16GB of RAM. The device is expected to support up to 512GB of onboard storage.

The Redmi Turbo 4 will reportedly have a 6.67-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 3,200 nits peak brightness, HDR10+ support, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection. The handset’s dual rear camera unit may include an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor. The front camera may contain a 20-megapixel sensor. It support up to 90W of wired fast charging and an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Meanwhile, a recent leak revealed details about the Turbo 4’s Pro variant. According to a source, the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro will feature a massive 7,500mAh battery and support 90W fast charging. It is expected to have a flat display and launch early next year.
