Vivo launches Y300i with a massive battery

The Vivo Y300i has been officially announced following a series of teasers. Last week, the phone appeared on the China Telecom website, where the full specifications were revealed.This new phone features a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset and one of the largest batteries in the vivo lineup.The front of the Y300i features a 6.68″ LCD with HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The Qualcomm chip is paired with 8 GB or 12 GB RAM, and storage options include 256 GB or 512 GB.The back has two cameras, the main one being 50 MP with an f/1.8 aperture in the front. The 5 MP selfie camera is hidden behind a punch hole.The phone runs Android 15, and because it is being launched in China, it features the domestic-only OriginOS user interface on top.

The battery has a capacity of 6,500 mAh and supports 44W wired charging, but no wireless charging.The vivo Y300i comes in three colors: black, titanium, and blue. The starting price is CNY 1,499 (around $205), with the first sale set for Friday, March 14.
