Vivo Y500 Expected to Launch in September

The Vivo Y500 will be available in China next month, according to the company’s Weibo account.  The phone will be the next addition to the tech company’s Y-series of smartphones, which also includes the Vivo Y400 and Y300.  The latter was released in 2024, whilst the Y400 was introduced earlier this year.  Aside from the launch date, the business has released certain phone details and photos.  The phone comes with a circular rear camera module.

In a Weibo post the Chinese smartphone maker revealed that the Vivo Y500 will be available in China on September 1.  The business has also confirmed that the phone would have an 8,200mAh battery pack.  The forthcoming handset will also have a “IP69+” classification for dust and water protection.
